What is resident pleasure? What is the wisdom behind all this beauty on earth? What does the promise (of Jannah) mean?

Resident Pleasure…

Who is God?

He is the origin of beauty, perfection, and gifts

The earth and every created beauty in it

Flowers and roses

I have a flower painting in which some five hundred flowers are depicted

And each flower is more beautiful than the other

Who gave it such beauty?

Look at a baby’s face. There’s unimaginable beauty in it!

Look at the sea, look at a green mountain.

There are incredibly beautiful landscapes you won’t believe really exist on earth!

The wisdom behind this is that Allah has promised us Paradise

This is the promise given by Him in the Qur’an

But if we don’t know what this promise (of Jannah) means, it (the promise) becomes meaningless

If a person was born in jail

And never saw the sea before

And we told him the word “sea”;  just the three letters s, e, and a

The word “sea”

is meaningless to him

So, standing before a sea, boarding a ship

drowning, swimming

Are all experiences that, for him, has nothing to do with the word “sea”

Allah (Exalted be He) created many beautiful places

By Allah, there are pretty unbelievable places in Europe. A piece of the paradise on earth!

Green mountains, and flowing rivers

Listen to a birdsong!

Take a look at one of the most beautiful of birds; the peacock!

There are incredibly beautiful animals, spots, mountains, and seas

We are promised Paradise!

What is the wisdom behind the beauty on earth?

So let this beauty be in the back of your mind when you think about paradise

Allah said: “gardens beneath which rivers flow” (Aal `Imran 3:15)

You are promised Paradise

What no eye has seen!

How many countries have you visited?

Ten, maybe fifteen

But have you been to Kuala Lumpur?

There’s still a country you’ve never been to!

which no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard and no human heart has ever perceived!

“I have prepared for My pious servants which no eye (has ever) seen, no ear has (ever) heard and no human heart has ever perceived”

We are promised Paradise, brothers.
