The Unquestionable truth is that man is Allah’s chosen foremost creature being held accountable
As he, eternally, dared to bear the trust
Accountable
Allah (Exalted be He) has charged him with many responsibilities
He is commanded to live according to Allah’s law
This law is the commands of the Creator; the All-Expert Maker
Based on the truth that the maker is only knowledgeable expert of what He has made, deviation away from that law leads to sins
We have been created with desires, but any desire we have been provided has lawful or prohibited dimension
There’s a sexual desire and there’s marriage, there’s a desire for money and there’s work
Thus, these are legal desires we have been created with
And there’re permissible ways to satisfy the desires we have been created with
The sin means deviation from the path of Allah (Exalted be He)
So, earning money through unlawful means is a great sin
Transgression against honor of others is a great sin
There’re Sins, There’s Mercy..
Thus, the sin is to satisfy one’s desire in a way other than Allah’s (Exalted be He)
But, Allah (Exalted be He, The Most Merciful) out of His mercy to us
That there’s a gate of repentance for anyone errs and makes mistakes
If there’s no repentance, there would be innumerous sins as the sinful becomes criminal
But, “ Say: “O my Servants” (Az-Zumar 39:53)….look at the possessive pronoun in “O my servants” meaning you are my servants
It is as a parent says “you are my children”
It may have a different meaning: “you are My servants”
Say: “O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah. Indeed Allah forgives all sins.” (Az-Zumar 39:53)
And Allah (Exalted be He) does not command us to repent except to accept the repentance
And He does not command us to ask His forgiveness except to forgive us
Therefore, Allah (Exalted be He) is Merciful; He has created us and He wants us to be happy: “Except whom your Lord has given mercy” (Hud 11:43)
But if one slips up, all the sons of Adam are sinners, but the best of sinners are those who repent often.
It’s all about repentance; without it, a small act of obedience turns into a major sin
Meaning, if there was no repentance, people would do whatever they want
But, “Say: “O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah. Indeed Allah forgives all sins: it is He Who is the Forgiving, the Most Merciful.” (Az-Zumar 39:53)
