The Key to Success…

A calm serene bay is more beneficial than a muddy sea

In other words, quality over quantity

Put differently, deeds without sincerity is of no vail.

It is like someone who fills a bag with sand that makes it heavier, but for no gain.

Those who walks the road without sincerity are like someone who tries to crack a nut using wool threads.

Or like someone who wants to urge camels for walking by singing but no camels are there.

Someone who tries to shoot an arrow without having a bow, to belch without feeling replete, like a mountain zebra without its mountainous habitat

Undoubtedly such a person doesn’t achieve their goal. Sincerity is the core of any deed. Showing off withers away the deed

Those who show off wear clean clothes but have dirty hearts. Sincerity is like musk and showing-off is like a carrion

So, beware of your ill intentions… once turned out to deeds they spoil them

When silkworms began to weave silk, spiders came to do the same

Saying: O silkworms, I produce the same threads you produce!

The silkworms replied: Kings wear my silk threads while yours are the dwellings of flies!

Plus, touching the two threads shows the difference

Don’t fall for the ruse!!

The first lesson: Have a good intention and act upon such intention

With intention everything gets clearer, and goals are set. Upon intentions is based the process of the whole journey

The intention is considered as the backbone, the principal foundation, the origin, and the driver of the action. It is the soul to the action

When it is good, the action is good, and when it is ill, the action is spoiled

Intention is what brings success, and it’s loss brings failure as well

Upon it are based the degrees of rank in both this life and the Hereafter

If there’s no sincerity, then there’s no purity

It is the Sunnah of Allah that whoever has a good intention and acts on it

he is to succeed and achieve what he aspires to and more by permission of Allah

Allah (Exalted be He) says: “And whoever leaves his home as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger

and then death overtakes him – his reward has already become incumbent upon Allah.” (An-Nisaa’ 4:100) “Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter

We increase for him in his harvest.” (Ash-Shura 42:20) “But whoever desires the Hereafter and exerts the effort due to it while he is a believer

– it is those whose effort is ever appreciated by Allah.” (Al-Israa’ 17:19) Those who have evil intention, and act on such intention

never succeed and are destined to fail. And because they sometimes don’t see it (failure) doesn’t mean it isn’t there

It soon gets clearer to them

Allah (Exalted be He) says: “Whoever desires this present life – We hasten for him therein what We intend

Then, afterwards, We have appointed for him hell.” (Al-Israa’ 17:18) and He says: “Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornments –

We fully repay them for their deeds therein, and they therein will not be deprived. Those are the ones for whom there is not in the Hereafter but the Fire.

And lost is what they did therein, and worthless is what they used to do.” (Hud 11:15-16) “And whoever desires the reward of this world – We will give him thereof;

and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter – We will give him thereof. And we will reward the grateful.” (Aal `Imran 3:145)

Have a good intention and act upon such intention. You will be fine so long as you have good intentions

”The reward of deeds depends upon the intention and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended.”.

Seek Allah’s countenance in your sayings, deeds, acts of worship and in expressing thanks to Him

That’s how the servant of Allah is saved from polytheism and becomes a true worshipper of the Most Merciful

To conclude: “And whoever hopes for the meeting with his Lord, let him do righteous work, and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone.” (Al-Kahf 18:110)
